On February 7, 2026, more than 300 people will gather at Precious Blood Secondary School gym in Riiruta, for a powerful day of learning, sharing, and inspiration centered on microfinancing. This conference brings together leaders and community members who are committed to building sustainable futures through small loans, shared responsibility, and mutual support.
Sister Mary Paul Wamatu, co-founder of African Ministry Fund, has invited leaders and other interested participants to come together to revisit the core principles of microfinancing. Throughout the day, group leaders will share their personal stories—both successes and struggles—offering honest insight into how microfinancing has impacted their lives and communities.
Adding to the day’s inspiration, Sister Toni will serve as a featured speaker. Known for her engaging and heartfelt approach, she will share her own journey and explain why she is such a strong believer in microfinancing. Her presence is also a visible reminder of African Ministry Fund’s ongoing commitment and support for these programs.
A key focus of the conference is connection. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with one another, exchange ideas, and learn directly from shared experiences. These conversations are often where encouragement is sparked, confidence is built, and new possibilities begin to take shape.
This gathering promises to be more than a conference—it will be a celebration of collaboration, resilience, and hope for the future.
